To improve the efficiency of digital government services, the Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA) and the Miaoli County Government jointly launched the optimized online application platform of Quick e-Services 2.0 today (21st). The platform currently has 38 services interfaced with MODA's Human-Centered Data Use (MyData) Platform, allowing people to apply for specific services without having to prepare additional supporting documents. They can simply give consent through MyData to have the system automatically obtain the required information. It is expected that by the end of this year, Quick e-Services 2.0 will add eight more services that are interfaced with MyData. MODA will continue to work with various agencies to expand the scope of digital services.

MODA explained that, for example, when parents in Miaoli County need to register online for a public childcare institution, they can submit their application through Quick e-Services 2.0. The system will redirect them to MODA's MyData platform. After completing identity verification online, the system can retrieve the applicant's four required documents at once: household registration, indigenous status, proof of low-income household status, and disability status. Applicants no longer need to apply for each document in person. This greatly simplifies the process and improves application efficiency.

MODA stated that the core principles of the MyData platform are public consent and secure data acquisition. Citizens can safely provide their personal information stored by government agencies, to the applying unit simply by verifying their identity and authorizing the retrieval online, saving them the time of traveling to various government offices to apply for paper certificates. Currently, the use of MyData covers multiple fields such as social welfare, education, taxation, maternal and child health, and consumer finance.

MODA emphasized that Quick e-Services 2.0 is one of the concrete results of collaboration between the central and local governments in promoting smart governance and digital services. In the future, we will continue to expand the scope of the MyData platform to create more convenient and efficient digital government services.
